Immigration is a difficult process on multiple levels and add an extra level of difficulty if English is not your first language. When it came to designing the branding for Kapaowai Immigration Advice (KIA for short), I wanted to focus on simplicity.

Clear communication is essential, and achieved through minimising the use of photography, focusing on typography and vector graphic assets. The monochromatic colour scheme also helps to simplify the brands aesthetic.

The brand itself is designed to mimic the look of the stamps that are used by immigaration officals at borders throughout the world. The angle used in the brand also helps to prote the idea of positivity and success. A seal of approval allowing you entry.
